3D Matter
3D Matter and the Consentual Now
3D Space and Matter is a concept that is familiar to us on a very solid and visceral manner. When we consider the idea of the "moment of now", we are envisioning a frozen, 3D snapshot of the world around us, and the entire universe. We call it "space", and its three dimensions are sometimes referred to as height, width and depth, though their individual labels and the perspective at which we perceive them are relative.
3D matter is "solid" in our standard purview of consciousness. There are some valuable thought experiments that we can do with our familiar 3D matter, envisioning dimensional promotion and dimensional demotion, to help understand what the 4th dimension, time, really is.
For each level of dimensional promotion up from the last, we are taking everything before it, and creating a new, infinite continuum of versions of the previous dimensions. 4D time is an infinite continuum of "complete snapshots of 3D matter". By extrapolating 3D matter along a new 4th dimension of time, we create an infinite series of "versions" of the 3D universe. As we sample different moments in the 4th dimension of time, we get a completely different configuration of the 3D space universe, with objects moving around, with some matter enfolding into energy, and some energy unfolding into 3D matter.
