Conscious Design and Science versus Intelligent Design
Exploring ConscioCentrism versus Religion and Intelligent Design
Creationism and Intelligent Design
Intelligent Design is a pseudoscience argument for the existence of a god... also known as "creation science". The phrase first appeared in the late 80s / early 90s, as Christian groups tried to introduce religious textbooks into schools using a sort of Terminology Trojan Horse.
The ConscioCentric view is that religion is not inherently bad - in fact, the core beliefs of most religions preach principles that are beneficial to humanity and the advancement of our civilizations. The problem with most religions is not the principles which they teach, but rather the literal interpretation of magical stories written by men and the human made power structures that exist within most religions. Corruption occurs when religious middlemen place themselves between believers and their religious truth (or god). Religious institutions have progressively gotten more and more corrupt over the past 2000 years, creating significant socioeconomic power structures, religious bureaucracy, and money harvesting from their followers.
From the standpoint of understanding the universe, most religions believe that a tangible deity, external from humanity, magically created the universe and life, and that there are these literal afterlife realms of heaven or hell, which are used to coerce people to follow beliefs and buy into power structures.
There are plenty of great lessons from religious textbooks, insightful metaphors for the workings of the universe, and excellent principles of morality. Indeed, ConscioCentrism believes that many great prophets from history have peered into universal truths, and were the catalysts for the positive elements of their religions. ConscioCentrism subscribes to most of these principles, and welcomes religious followers of all origins to take a look at ConscioCentrism. You will find that there is more in common than you might think, minus the literal interpretations of magic stories, and bureaucratic power structures of modern churches, temples or mosques.
Think of God as a verb, meaning "the act of creation". The kingdom of god exists within each of us.
Scientific Interpretation of the Universe and Evolution of Life
On the other hand, you have the viewpoint of Science, which, over the past 500 years, has largely overtaken religion as a source of core understanding about the universe and beliefs about the evolution of life. Science's most adamant supporters often take an extreme reductionist/materialist perspective that only random chance over time has created order in the universe, and life as we know it.
From the ConscioCentric perspective, Darwin's Natural Selection is absolutely valid, and an excellent description of how life has evolved over time, obeying the rules of physics and biology. However, Natural Selection doesn't tell the whole story, and ConscioCentrism takes the view that life and order in the universe is not the result of random chance.
Conscious Design
The term "Conscious Design" may be an appropriate phrase for the ConscioCentric belief of the evolution of life - though this is proposed knowing it has semantic baggage attached, and may be misinterpreted. Conscious Design is a scientific interpretation of how life has evolved, but states that consciousness is fundamental to matter itself. Consciousness is intrinsic to, and inseparable from matter. This philosophy of mind actually dates back thousands of years to the time of Plato and Thales, but in the past 100 years, since the quantum mechanics revolution, it has re-emerged as potentially the best description for how consciousness exists.
ConscioCentrism takes Everett's Relative State Formulation interpretation of quantum wave collapse, and the implications of Schrodinger's equation and Einstein's Relativity and dimensional linking of space and time - with some unique perspective of how the "many worlds" of Everett's formulation are traversed, and how the many worlds are related to spacetime. ConscioCentrism states that consciousness exists in not just one of the many worlds at any given time, but in all of them. Reality is the result of the collective consensual composite of these many worlds stacked together. In the moment of now, we experience a collective composite of the many worlds canvas, in which quantum probability is so closely composited that it appears fully solid.

Physicist, Quantum Mechanics Pioneer
"The same organizing forces that have shaped nature in all her forms are also responsible for the structure of our minds."
Physics and Beyond: Encounters and Conversations
Conscious Design states that consciousness, inseparable from matter itself, is the driver for the progression of the universe, from the big bang, through formation of galaxies and stars, through the evolution of life. Consciousness is tightly interwoven in the fundamental forces of strong nuclear, electromagnetic/electroweak, and gravity. The core impulses of consciousness are separation and unification. The fundamental forces can be directly related to this concept, and the evolution of life can be framed within this idea of constant movements of separation and reunification into new constructs. Darwin's Natural Selection is fully compatible with Conscious Design, as well as the cutting edge discoveries in quantum mechanics and dissipative adaptation.
Conscious Design does not believe in life and order of the universe developing because of random chance however. Consciousness, fundamental to matter itself is the driver and guiding force behind the progression of the universe.
Conscious Design, one could say, sits closely next to science, and is directly derived from quantum mechanics and Schrodinger's equation, however rejects the randomness principle that many dogmatic, materialistic scientists might advocate for.
