History as Probability

Investigating history under the paradigm of probability

There is a saying that  "History is written by the victors", and there is much truth to that claim, just on a surface level.  However, the nature of quantum probability as we diverge forward or backward from the moment of now, presents us with an interesting view of historical fact.   Thousands of years ago, before the creation of written communications, there may have been a less rigid consensual reality based on fuzzier historic record of the combined consciousness of matter.   The sub conscious, and inherently known material known history and naturally understood processes of life would have been the most solid historical lineage that existed before writing.

There is debate as to whether history or the future exists at all, and some people may even make claims that time is an illusion.   Under the Consciocentric view, Time and the vector of Many Worlds (MWI interpretation of quantum mechanics) is the plane on which Consciousness constantly navigates.  Our conscious minds have the ability, at a whim, to jump back in time to memories, forward in time to plans, or sideways through the MWI/Time manifold to consider alternate choices.   When we access these memories, we are jumping to the 3D material index of the universe in our imagination, at a point in time and possibility.   It is "real" in our imagination, but not aligned with the Many Worlds of possibility that exist for that time index, therefore, it is not real like the moment of now which we all consensually experience together in alignment.

The moment of now is a consensual composite image of these many worlds, in tight alignment at the moment of now.   The moment of now, under this paradigm, may be our definition of real / 3D reality, but history is just a less aligned, more fuzzy composite image, following a reverse causal chain.

Since the conscious advent of language and written communications, and more recent developments of printing press, and internet, the written historic record of human history, the earth, and our solar system may have become more causally solidified.

"Somehow, though, the photons always get it right. Whenever the detector is on—again, even if the choice to turn it on is delayed until long after a given photon has passed through the beam splitter—the photon acts fully like a particle...   It’s as though the photons have a “premonition” of the experimental situation they will encounter farther downstream, and act accordingly. It’s as if a consistent and definite history becomes manifest only after the future to which it leads has been fully settled."

"Humans have little causal control of future... [But,] by reinterpreting your past, you can better shape your future."
