Investigating Einstein's "Cosmological Constant"
The Cosmological Constant was first introduced as a concept in 1917, by Albert Einstein. In a nutshell, it is an energy that persists through the entire vacuum of all space in the universe. This energy is sometimes referred to as "Dark Energy". It's an invisible force that exhibits an opposite impulse from gravity. It is essentially anti-gravity.
The Cosmological Constant / Dark Energy is at the heart of debates in cosmology about the apparently expanding universe, and the future fate of the universe. Measurements have been made showing that in general, galaxies are accelerating away from each other. There are different interpretations of the future fate of the universe - whether it will continue to expand, or whether it may some day slow and stabilize or collapse back in an event that would be the opposite of the big bang.
The Cosmological Constant and Gravity are the two biggest puzzles that have baffled scientists over the past 100 years since relativity and quantum mechanics were unveiled. In the ConscioCentric paradigm, this is separation vs unity... the most fundamental of conscious force concepts. Everything ties back to a balance between separation impulse (big bang, dark energy, electroweak) and unity impulse (gravity, strong nuclear force). The collective consciousness of the universe plays out this balance between separation and unity over cosmological periods of time.
