The Order of Cleaning
Examining the disorder of our possessions
In the Consciocentric paradigm, our living quarters and material possessions are an extension of our conscious sphere of influence. Our consciousness, in a very tangible way, exhibits dominant/primary control over the very matter of our possessions and living quarters. We control their location in 3D space of the universe, their configuration, their relationships to other items, their condition, and their change through 4D time.
If we take a look a the act of cleaning our living quarters and organizing our possessions, and frame that within Consciocentrism, we get an interesting insight into why cleaning (or more precisely "organization") can be rewarding to our state of mind. The most fundamental dynamic of Consciocentrism is a balance between separation and unity. As time progresses, entropy is a natural force of separation. Disorder is the natural state of things as we follow the arrow of time. This can be seen in our everyday lives - If we don't clean our living quarters and create order among our possessions, they naturally take on a state of disorder. This is entropy in action on a tangible, macro level.
When our houses and possessions are in a state of extreme disorder, that can be seen as our very consciousness being in a state of disorder - our possessions are an extension of our conscious control sphere. When you need to transfer a computer file, but can't find your USB stick, or need to write something down, but can't find a pen, the disorder can be especially frustrating.
This is not to say that cleaning is fun - just that the completion of cleaning provides a sort of reward to our consciousness. Sometimes the monotonous action of doing dishes over and over, or cleaning counters and floors can seem like a terrible task, but once you finish doing so, you will probably feel a good sense of satisfaction and peacefulness, as you have removed entropy/disorder/dirt from your sphere.
When we move our possessions into new locations and organizational structures, that can be seen as a truly creative endeavor - taking separate, disordered elements and organizing them into new patterns. Have you every noticed that upon completion of reorganizing your possessions you feel significantly rewarded and feel a sense of happiness with the new order of things?
Some people are even obsessive/compulsive about cleaning, and it may be due to a strong urge for unity/order in the person's conscious sphere. They may not be able to control disorder in other areas of their life, or may have an excess of disorder in their own state of mind and understanding, but they can control the order of their possessions, which is an extension of their consciousness. Having a clean living quarters and organized possessions also creates an outward appearance of order to other guests and visitors, and quells insecurities that others may judge your state of mind, based on the order and cleanliness of your possessions.
